Lust, Money & Murder - Book 1/ best damn e book ever written

Some people watch T.V I read books while i watch TV if i find myself ignoring the TV i know i have a great book in my hands.I have to apologize to Mike Wells he has been in my twitter a long time i had never read his books Mike i am sorry it was my lose. While at my daughters house for dinner i happen to pick up her kindle start reading the page on there it was Lust, Money & Murder - Book 1 i saw the name Mike Wells and knew right away i had made a mistake not downloading the free book he gives you for following him it was this very book i believe. Some people admire firemen and detectives or hero soldiers and rightfully so  i admire writers i truly believe there talent to let you inside there imagination and use nothing but mere words to keep you there till the story has ended is so amazing.

After about a chapter i had to look again see if i was reading a Alex Cross or Jack Reacher book, one minute were a model few minutes later were a secret service agent in Bulgaria This is a fast book full of suspense and action lots of twist not over detailed but it keeps you very in touch with the characters, love fast thrillers, i loved this book.Only recently i become a e book reader as i always thought if a book is that good i would see it all over town or at least at the grocery store while i was in line, but i understand that soon all books will be e books and now some of our best talent use amazon as there publisher Mike wells i am sure has sold a million books without ever using a single piece of paper, great  for  our ecology and his books are great for entertainment .i will be buying more books of his since they go right from one to the other like one giant million page book you buy a chapter at a time but hell e books are cheap you have a new fan Mike thank you for sharing your imagination with us.

ROBERT ELLIS is the worldwide bestselling author of Access to Power, The Dead Room and the critically acclaimed Los Angeles Times bestseller City of Fire, The Lost Witness, and Murder Season

A youthful female is uncovered brutally slain in her very own residence in Philadelphia. The mailman evidently "did it." His fingerprints and teeth marks are discovered all over the body, and he is found at his own home, a short time after the murder, coated in the ladies blood. A next door neighbor observed the mail carrier jogging away from the crime scene, saturated in blood, at the estimated time the crime was determined.

Teddy Mack, a young lawyer at the Barnett & Stokes Law Firm, concentrating in corporate law, is requested to defend the offender by the firm's senior partner, even though Mack has no expertise as a defense attorney. Because of previous personal problems, Mack is revolted by criminal law, and is hesitant to take the case. However, the demand is made by his mentor, which makes it tough to turn down. He is essentially told that all he will be expected to do, since the defendant certainly committed the heinous crime, is to get rid of the death penalty as an option and make sure that the offender is sentenced to life in an institution for the criminally insane, as compared to the state penitentiary.

As Mack looks at the homicide and the research to prepare his defense, he finds another similarly grisly murder - and another; murders fully commited while the defendant is behind bars. The city's populace panics that a serial killer is on the loose. As the bodies keep turning up, so does proof of dirty politics and corrupt justice - a system that will indict, convict and kill the innocent in return for solving crimes and bringing in guilty verdicts.

Mack enters a community of horror and physical violence, confronting his own past demons, and a very real enormous in the present. He fights to save a life, and discover the truth behind the aggressive prosecution and the history of death penalty sentences by a zealous DA.
