My love affair with Nora Roberts go up and down like the worlds longest roller coaster since she has 170 million books in print she almost writes them faster than i can read them sometimes to fast ,yet some of my favorite books were penned by her also.But like i always said because i like a few of your books does not mean i will like them all. Nora writes under another name called J.D.Robb to put out a detective series with Eve Dallas as the super romantic super smart star of the series about NYPSD Lieutenant Eve Dallas .
Dallas and her husband are after a serial killer which lands them from NY to Dallas this is a special killer which has escaped from prison with serious ties to her past.This is one of the books by Nora where you will laugh cry,be scared, excited it is a emotional roller coaster with in depth research and descriptions which is Noras specialty.
Dallas isn't just a different location Eve and Dallas have history. As readers of the series know, Dallas is where Eve's life was transformed. I won't give any tips, but it should come as no surprise that the ghosts of Eve's past - a past she's thought she'd mostly overcome - are added to the tension of trying to seize McQueen the serial killer. I loved the character development this element of the story brought to Eve, even as it split my heart. And it wasn't only my heart breaking. Roarke, Eve's husband, is with her every step of the way. Not only do we see more of his character progression come about and the progression their marriage makes in NEW YORK TO DALLAS is merely lovely to observe. In many ways, Eve and Roarke make a unique couple.
