SAFE HAVEN, by Nicholas Sparks review

Safe Haven By Nicholas Sparks
SAFE HAVEN, by Nicholas Sparks

When a strange young female named Katie shows up in the little North Carolina town of Southport, her unexpected entrance elevates questions about her past. Gorgeous yet with drawn, Katie seems driven to stay clear of developing personal relationships until a sequence of situations attracts her into two hesitant relationships: one with Alex, a widowed store proprietor with a gentil heart and two young kids; and an additional with her plainspoken single next door neighbor, Jo. Regardless of her concerns, Katie gradually begins to let down her shield, putting down root base in the close-knit local community and becoming significantly connected to Alex and his family.

But even as Katie starts to fall in love, she battles with the dim secret that still haunts and terrifies her, a past that set her on a terrified, shattering voyage across the nation, to the protected retreat of Southport. With Jo’s empathic and tenacious support, Katie ultimately becomes aware of that she must select between a life of transient security and one of more dangerous rewards and that in the darkest hour, love is the only true safe haven.

This is a very good read with lots twist, spooky secrets, sexy love, one of the better books i have read this years.
